AI systems for the admin behind professional work

Every new matter, engagement or brief starts with the same work: reading what the client has sent, scoping what is involved, pricing it, running conflict and compliance checks, writing it up. It takes experienced people, and most of it repeats from one client to the next.We build systems that take on this work, think it through properly and hand a clear conclusion back to your people. They review it and make the decision.

Your data, exported any time
No lock-in
Where the repeated work sits A typical firm
Scoping Read the brief and the documents that came with it, work out what the engagement involves, estimate the time.
Pricing Draft the fee, the scope letter and the assumptions, checked against how similar work was priced before.
Onboarding Conflict checks, identity and compliance checks, engagement letters, opened and filed.
Billing Time narratives written up, hours reconciled against the scope, bills prepared for partner review.
Each follows the same logic every time. That is work software can carry.
A worked example

Scoping and pricing a new engagement

A new enquiry is a good illustration of how our systems work. The client sends an email and a folder of documents, and someone senior has to read all of it before a fee can be quoted. The system does that reading and working out, and prepares the proposal. It does not send anything and it does not set your fees.

The same approach applies to onboarding, time narratives, billing and client reporting. Whatever the task, the pattern is the same: the system reads, reasons and concludes; a person decides.

01

It reads everything the client has sent

Emails, contracts, accounts, correspondence and prior advice. It identifies what is being asked for, what the client has left out, and any issues that would change the scope.

02

It works the engagement through

The stages involved, who would need to be on it, the hours at each level, and any specialist input. Each is checked against how your firm has scoped and priced comparable work.

03

It returns a clear conclusion

A recommended fee and structure, the scope and exclusions, the assumptions behind it, and the risks it has spotted. It drafts the proposal and the questions that need to go back to the client.

04

Your partner makes the decision

The proposal is reviewed by the person who will be accountable for the work. They adjust it or approve it, and it goes out under their name. Their decision informs how the system scopes the next one.

What it means

Faster proposals, consistent scoping, and senior people spending their time on advice

For the business

Proposals go out in a day rather than a week. Scoping and pricing are consistent across the firm, not dependent on who picked up the enquiry. More work is quoted and won without adding to the team.

For your people

Your fee earners are experienced and expensive. That experience is wasted on reading through folders and retyping details into templates. With the preparation done, they spend their time on judgement and on the client.

For your control

Every conclusion shows its working, so it can be checked and challenged. Nothing reaches a client without a person approving it. Your matter data stays yours and can be exported at any time. No long contracts.
